Breakfast Club

At our Early Birds Breakfast Club we provide before-school care to help parents balance work and family commitments.

The children are offered a healthy breakfast and then a range of quiet activities and games so that they are ready for the day ahead.

The Early Birds Breakfast Club caters for children from Reception to Year 6.

The times for The Early Birds Breakfast Club are 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. Children may arrive between 7:45 -8:05 a.m.

It is not permissible to bring vehicles into the school grounds to drop off children for Early Birds.  Please park safely in the road and escort children across the playground and into the building through the Key Stage 1 entrance. Please ensure that children are handed over personally to a member of our staff.

The Early Birds Breakfast Club is supervised by 2 members of our staff: Mrs Basterfield and Mrs Nash.

Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. We finish serving at 8.15 a.m. in order to give us time to clear away. The menu on offer from Catering Services is: cereal; toast with jam; and milk, hot chocolate (winter) milkshake (summer) or orange/apple juice. 

Afterschool Club

Our Afterschool Club operates daily until 5:45 pm and is open to all pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Children are provided with a substantial snack and can participate in a range of activities, including outdoor play.

Afterschool club is supervised by 2 members of staff: Miss Chahal and Miss Hadley. 

Please note that the breakfast and after school clubs will not operate on INSET days

All bookings for breakfast club and afterschool club must be made in advance using the ParentPay system.

If you are registered for this term you can now access breakfast club via ParentPay.

If you do not see Breakfast Club Afterschool Club on your ParentPay please email contactus.dwp@riverscofe.co.uk for it to be added.

Our Price:

Breakfast Club: £4 per child per session

Afterschool Club: £6 per child per session

In order to reduce costs to families we are willing to accept childcare vouchers from various suppliers. We can accept many kinds of childcare vouchers. Please contact the school if you have a specific voucher supplier you would like us to contact and set up access.

At the request of a number of our families, we have already registered with the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme which offers an effective saving of 20% on childcare.
