On Friday 25th January, a team of Year 6 children visited the Dudley Council Chambers to take part in a debate. The subject of the debate was - 'This house believes that the sugar tax should be abolished.' Our team proposed the motion and debated with other teams from Dudley schools, who were against. Despite our persuasive arguments including an analysis of the high cost of 'healthy option' snacks, our team were defeated this year. Well done to our fantastic children who demonstrated confidence and skill in debate.
