Chloe is a pupil at Dudley Wood Primary School. She has decided to help sick children by cutting off her hair. She will be having her much-loved long hair chopped off in support of Matt’s Mission, a children’s charity that grants the wishes of children suffering from cancer. Today Chloe led a very special assembly where she told all the children about the fantastic work of Matt’s Mission and about what she is doing to raise money.
“I am donating my hair so that children going through cancer and have lost hair through treatment can have mine. I want to make children feel better and for them to smile and be happy and my hair will do that for them.”
To support Chloe in her fund raising, we are having a Crazy Hair Day on Friday 29 March. Children can wear crazy hair styles to school and donate to this incredibly worthwhile charity. In the words of Chloe, let’s do our best to “make the poorly children’s smiles glow”.
