Early Birds Breakfast Club. Covid-19 addendum. September 2020.
Information for parents:
The Early Birds Breakfast Club will re-open on Monday 21st September.
We hope this will support our parents to balance work and family commitments.
At the early Birds Breakfast Club, the children are offered a healthy breakfast and then a range of quiet activities and games so that they are ready for the day ahead.
The Early Birds Breakfast Club will continue to cater for children from Reception to Year 6.
The Early Birds Breakfast club is open at 7:45am from Monday to Friday.
Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. and the menu remains the same. The menu on offer from Dudley Catering Services is: cereal (choice of rice krispies or cornflakes); toast with jam; and milk, hot chocolate (winter) milkshake (summer) or orange/apple juice.
The prices for our Early Birds Breakfast Club remain fixed at:
For one child - £3.00 per session. (£15.00 per week).
For two children from the same family – £4.50 per session (£22.50 per week).
For three children from the same family - £6.00 per session (£30.00 per week).
The Early Birds Breakfast Club is supervised by 3 members of our staff: Mrs Basterfield, Mrs Hindmarsh and Mrs Nash.
Booking a place
All places must be strictly booked in advance.
Booking forms will be emailed. To request a booking form please contact the school via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have reserved a place and are unable to attend please inform us as we may be able to allocate that place to another child. Failure to inform us will result in a charge. We will not charge you if your child is unwell.
New Arrival procedures
Children may arrive between 7:45 -8:05 a.m.
It is not permissible to bring vehicles into the school grounds to drop off children for Early Birds Breakfast Club. Please park safely in the road and escort children across the playground to the outside of the main entrance. Here you will be greeted by a member of our Early Birds Breakfast Club staff and your children will enter the school. Parents are not permitted to enter the school entrance or lobby.
If there is a queue to enter, please remain 2 metres apart from other parents and children.
On arrival your child will be required to wash their hands.
Payments must be made in advance or on the day that your child attends. Please pay a member of the Early Birds Breakfast Club staff.
All monies should be in an envelope or money bag with the name of your child and the payment amount written clearly on the front. The exact money is required and no change will be given.
A Safe Space
For our Early Birds Breakfast Club, tables in the dining room will be spaced 2 metres apart and children will occupy every other seat. Children will be seated in their class/year group bubbles or in family groups.
Activities, games and other resources will be cleaned after use.
