Our School Values
Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
At Dudley Wood Primary School we value everyone and we make every day count.
We care for our children as unique individuals, taking time to develop their interests, talents and personalities. We want children to enjoy school, feel safe, try hard and achieve success and we aim to build a happy and trusting partnership with parents to ensure that every child achieves their full potential.
We value feedback from parents, and parents' views and comments help us to continue to develop and improve our school. Teachers and Leaders are always on the playground at the beginning and the end of the school day. Please talk to us. Below are the results from our annual parental questionnaire.
We often talk with pupils about their learning, we listen carefully and we involve them.
For example, at the end of each year we talk to Year 6 pupils and their views help to shape our School Development and Improvement Plan.
Please see below some of the comments from pupil exit interviews.
Home School Agreement
It is through the development of a Home School Agreement that we aim to encourage a successful partnership between school, parents and pupils in order to promote a positive atmosphere within which our children can flourish.
We would ask that you read and accept the expectations set out in our Home School Agreement and review the content of the agreement regularly with your child during the time they are at school.
